I don't think it's bad (I really wouldn't even feel comfortable judging it at all), it's just not really the kind of music I am into, it doesn't interest me
To be honest I don't really remember anything about it. I don't think I actively disliked it but I believe I took it out of the car stereo after two spins and haven't listened to it since, even though I listened to Resurrection A LOT. I like all the other albums though.
I could see how that album wouldn't do much for you after 2 spins, it kinda takes a bit to really sink in. Resurrection is underrated by most people imo. I like that record a lot, don't think it's top tier NFG or their best bit still very very good
Yeah maybe. The thing is, my girlfriend didn't like it, and given my listening habits that really throws an album out of rotation
Understand this completely. I just force my wife to listen to my "shitty pop punk" when we are in my vehicle lol
Been listening to NFG's albums to get ready for the song brackets and I'm liking Not Without A Fight a lot more than I did when it was first released. The album probably falls in the middle for me in terms of rankings but the 2nd half of the album was much better than I remembered. I even enjoyed Radiosurgery more too, it's a fun summer pop punk album. It's probably near the bottom of the album rankings but it's not bad by any means. Going to listen to Resurrection later today, wish me luck.
The whole album is complete pop and that's not to say it's a bad thing. Like I said, it's a pretty good summer pop punk album but I can see why people don't necessarily like it as it feels like a step back from NWAF.
I liked Radiosurgery for what it was and contains some of my favorite songs by them , though I think the title track is their weakest opener. Favorite tracks: Anthem For The Unwanted I'm Not The One Ready, Aim, Fire! Summer Fling, Don't Mean A Thing Memories and Battle Scars
Radiosurgery is a fun album but I still go back and forth over whether it or Resurrection is their worst.
I think it's Resurrection with Radiosurgery or Nothing Gold Can Stay as the 2nd worst album in my rankings. I haven't listen to that album since it came out and can only remember like 3 songs I actually like from it.
Gonna go ahead and add Drill It In My Brain as a (new) favorite off Radiosurgery. Listened to it for the first time in years years yesterday and it’s been in my head ever since. Catchy, simple, fun song.
