I like Intro, all downhill, truth, flattering, I’m known, fall asleep, and mistake. That’s it.

 

I think Truth, Downhill, This Disaster and Flattering are some of their best songs.
But songs like Doubt Full, No News, and Fall Asleep......I can't even remember how those go.

 

No News is actually one of the better songs on that album IMO

Only bummer about Catalyst is that it’s pretty easily Jordan’s worst vocal performance. That was like, peak nasal tones. All the songs own though

 

Doubt Full is fucking amazing, probably in my top 10 songs by them

 

I knew most people dislike it but I find it incredibly endearing

 

Catalyst is probably my 3rd favorite album of theirs behind Sticks and Stones and Self Titled. The only tracks I don't really care much for are Over The Head Below The Knees, I'd Kill To Fall Asleep and No News Is Good News. The bonus tracks are pretty good too.

 

Catalyst is a jam.

 

Anyone here who would join an NFG bracket? I'm considering hosting one, perhaps after the Foo Fighters bracket.

I love Catalyst, Truth Of My Youth and This Disaster are such killer songs.

 

I'm in! Also I had no idea there's been a Foo Fighters one....need to jump in there now.

 

All Downhill from Here, Truth of My Youth, Failure's Not Flattering and No News Is Good News are good songs, the rest is meh. Also, I agree on the album having the worst vocals, at least for anything released after the first From the Screen to Your Stereo EP.

 

Self Titled, NWAF, and Makes Me Sick are my fav NFG albums.

 

Also, Truth Of My Youth is such a great opener for a show.
