Although they're not one of my favorite bands, I feel NFG have been one of the few I listen to that have been somewhat consistent through all their releases, but at the same time being able to experiment on albums like Coming Home and Makes Me Sick. It's still crazy to me how low people put Not Without A Fight and how high they put Catalyst on album ranking lists.
I think the faux tough guy stuff they pulled on it was terrible. It was a big overcorrection after Coming Home got a bad reception. There are some good songs on it, but so much of it is a skip for me.

I feel like the 2nd half of NWAF is pretty forgettable except for Heartless At Best. The first 5 songs on that album are very good and then the rest just drags. I haven't listened to that album in full in years so I do wonder if my opinion changed at all but I do tend to feel that most of NFG's albums are pretty top heavy.

I think it's a good album, but they have no bad ones so I had to put it somewhere. In reality, for me it's tied with Catalyst. I'm glad to see so many of you giving Coming Home the love it deserves. But also surprised to see Radiosurgery being ranked so low on so many lists, I think it's so underrated and awesome. The NFG law no one speak of: "Thou shall have Sticks and Stones on thy top 3 list."
I've always loved Coming Home from the day it was released and was really disappointed that they didn't do a proper follow up to that album. It's too bad they listened to the negative feedback and album sales and decided to go back to their basic pop punk formula (not that there is anything wrong with that). I think Radiosurgery is a fun summer album and agree that it's probably underrated a bit.
I honestly still haven’t checked it out. I’m a big fan of Aaron Sprinkle though, so I know I need to. Radiosurgery and Resurrection did nothing for me, so I’ve been off the NFG train for a while.
Makes Me Sick reignited my love for the band. I too was very let down by Radiosurgery and Resurrection.

can anyone else not play Coming Home on Spotify? it's the only one of their albums that won't play for me, i don't know what's going on there
same, same. this is really annoying since that's my fav NFG record, lol, so of COURSE that's the one that won't play... also; wondering if this might be because i had to delete the album file from my computer for memory/storage reasons. but other records i've deleted still play on spotify so who knows...
Only thing I could think of is if it's somehow trying to play the files if you have them on your hard drive instead of playing them from the Spotify cloud? Do you have the files on your hard drive? Maybe they got moved? I really have no idea haha
