Got my hopes up too

 

Jordan was on a Northern California radio show recently and said album is not coming out in fall anymore. They’re working on touring schedule for ‘26 and want to maximize album sales etc. so the album will drop in ‘26 now. He said they’ll release 4-5 more songs leading up to it.

 

Well thats a huge bummer. Not sure if that will help or hurt them.

FTSTYS2 turned 18 yesterday.

Coming Home is 19 today!

 

Self titled is 25 years old today. Damn.

 

Realise how unique the album in that context and the fact it was one of the very first of that era/scene. Was the Hit Or Miss video on Kerrang tv in the UK that got me hooked before my friend in my street lent me their album. Still the band I've seen most in my life and probably will be forever.

 

New song called “Laugh It Off” coming Tuesday

 

Seeing new album is named “Listen Up!” coming out February 20, 2026

 

Hopefully we go 2/2 with new songs. 100% was a solid tune.

They really do have some cringe song titles but ‘100%’ got a lot of plays this Summer. Wish it was longer than 10 tracks given we’ve had ‘100%’ and ‘Dream Born Again’ for a good while. (Assuming the latter is full band vs acoustic) and we’ll have Laugh it Off tomorrow. So a near 5 month roll out for 7 songs. (Granted I could hold off on listening to anything else until then)

 

Dream Born Again is going to be a full band version.

I agree I wish it had more tracks but I bet Chad’s health had a lot to do with it.

Albums I considered fresh in high school I expect to be old, but Radiosurgery is a "new NFG album" so that number is more jarring. I hate seeing these anniversary numbers lol.
