Mainly because the audience for this record is older and most of us have kids. Lots of parents with their little ones in the crowd last night.
Man, I just saw the recent IG reel with Chad. He's looking so frail and it seems like its a struggle for him to even talk. Really hoping for a speedy recovery.
I know he just recently did a big round of chemo and went through pneumonia. The video of him from the show he played on this last tour was jarring, he's lost a ton of muscle mass from what he normally looks like (I compared with a few of his older photos on his IG). Seems whenever they find and treat one tumor, they're finding another.
Yeah, his body didn’t do well after he played the two shows on the first leg of the tour. I was hoping he’d be able to do the UK tour but from my perspective it’s not looking too good. It’ll be interesting what the future of the band looks like after those dates. (I don’t think they’re breaking up but a long break from touring and releasing music could be likely)
I got Sticks & Stines on vinyl for Christmas from my girlfriend and it comes with two bonus songs, Forget Everything and Anniversary. I’ve a huge NFG and never heard Anniversary before, what a fun Christmas surprise for me!
The B-sides/one-off/soundtrack run from the S/T record through RadioSurgery are maybe the 4th best NFG record.
Clockstoppers was definitely not an Olsen Twins movie. It also wasn’t very good but the soundtrack kicked way more ass than it deserved to.
Clockstoppers was my shit for like 2 years growing up. 100% my gateway into this music with the songs, but not interested in seeing if it holds up at all lol
Totally wrong. I was thinking of New York Minute which was an Olsen film from 2004 that had Simple Plan, MxPx and some others on the soundtrack.
I’ve definitely never seen it, but only knew of the soundtrack. I remember Van Wilder being a big pop punk soundtrack with lots of Sugarcult on it too.
