Oh were doing this. Self Titled (2x) Sticks & Stones (3x) Catalyst (2nd time on thursday) Coming Home Not Without A Fight
i only did it because @btr said not happening ever for coming home, but OH it has happened, and it was awesome! in Chicago we got 6 albums across three nights and they just made a set out of the 2 albums they played each night, it was cool for us and for them so they didn't have to play em in order. (and according to one of my friends who knows ian personally, they did it so no one would leave during the coming home section if they had played the albums back to back lol) sad
I can’t remember what specific shows I’ve seen but I know I’ve seen them between 15-20 times if not more
American Idiot Tour 2004 Warped Tour 2007 Bamboozle 2008 Revolution, Ft. Lauderdale 2009 Warped Tour 2012 Zumies Couch Tour (free show) 2012 Starland Ballroom 2014 Warped Tour 2016 Irving Plaza 2017 Convention Center, Asbury Park 2018 Terminal 5 2022 PNC Bank Arts Center 2023 This upcoming Saturday, Asbury Park I think this is my full list
I had to attend the Santa Ana,CA weekend because the other weekend I was on my dad’s birthday trip to Hawaiii. Really the only thing that would have prevented me from seeing that album live.
i went to all 3 here, i couldn't pick LOL i remember on the last night, jordan messed up lyrics to a song and chad called him out and was like dude you were doing so good here and jordan was like we played 66 songs or something, that's crazy memory skills!
One thing I'll always say about this band is Cyrus has always just hit that sweet spot with his drumming. He does exactly what you would want at the exact time that makes a lot of NFG songs so satisfying.
I definitely can't remember every NFG show I've ever seen off the top of my dome like that. But festival sets and opening slots? Easy enough. Wanted to give this a try... WBCN River Rave 2001 TOYP&J Tour 2001 (supporting Blink-182) WBRU Summer Concert Series 2002 (supporting Goldfinger) WBCN River Rave 2002 Warped Tour 2002 Warped Tour 2004 (Day 1) Warped Tour 2004 (Day 2) American Idiot Tour 2004 (supporting Green Day) WBRU Summer Concert Series 2004 (with the Living End) Bamboozle 2009 Amnesia Rockfest 2014 Riot Fest 2014 Riot Fest 2021 Sticks & Stones Fest 2022 Riot Fest 2024 incoming (Though that'll just be like, 25% of the set so that doesn't count.)
I was also at the MD show a few days ago and it was my first time seeing them in years, though I've seen them a million times (actually maybe the band I've seen live the most). Vibes definitely felt a little odd with the short set and Chad not being there but it was still so nice and refreshing to see them again, they still just kill it every time. Jordan doesn't get enough love for how good of a frontman he is
In the northeast it has been cooler the past few days. Especially in the mornings and it has given me my first taste of fall this year. This is perfect Coming Home weather. Completely a sunny September/October day record for me. Playing it all the way through.
The shorter set length, rad opener, my partner wanting to skip them at Riot Fest, and my best bud telling me he was free tomorrow night have all led to me getting a ticket for the Boston date on the tour. I'm way more stoked than I thought I'd be! I love NFG but Catalyst wasn't an album I thought I needed to see live. Turns out? I was wrong.

yupp, that was it lol. I remember waiting to buy tickets for it until the band themselves confirmed they were going because of how random and out of the blue it was. they weren't on tour at the time and it was a one off show. ended up being a cool show but it completely ruined the pair of shoes I wore that night because it was literally in the sand.
yah they got flown out for it, i remember seeing vince neil played that weekend too haha random! fun show nonetheless
