The verses are not my cup of tea. The chorus and bridge are fine. But it’s generally an easy skip for me.

 

Catalyst is one of the more underrated albums of the genre

 

Catalyst is easily best after Coming Home

 

Coming Home remains my favorite, but I think Catalyst did a lot of things right.

This Disaster gets a big shout out from me. Chorus is so huge.

 

The main thing that comes to mind with Catalyst is how insanely nasally Jordan sounds on it. I just assume it has to do with how his vocals were mixed, or something.

 

It’s the album that got me into the band so I’ve never minded it. Part of the charm for me

 

It's crazy how popular catalyst was at the time and how little it's spoken of.

 

Radio Adelaide may be my favorite b-side ever. From any band.

 

Catalyst generally hurts my ears, but it rocks.

 

My 2 Catalyst takes are that Jordan’s nasally vocals don’t typically bother me too much but are so over the top on this album and that Truth of My Youth should have been a single rather than I Don’t Wanna know.

im bummed they redid the artwork for stereo 2, the original is awesome with the 3D look!

 

yeah not really sure why they re-did that cover. Maybe they wanted it to be more back in 2006 but couldn't get it done in time?

 

Probably don't have the art in a resolution they can print without it looking like hell.

 

Same thought. Nothing the old AI machine can’t handle. I actually do wonder what AI can do for resolution issues like this.
