Actually enjoyed this quite a bit! Low key looking forward to this album.

 

Never heard of Your Broken Hero but that song is dope.

Jordan sounds really good here! That video is super nostalgic too

 

That dude makes me so irrationally angry.

 

It's the Emo's Not Dead guy, you may have seen the videos where he kind of "Transforms" into his younger emo self when someone (usually his annoyed wife) inadvertently uses the lyrics to an emo song from the past.

He basically took the schtick and turned it into a throwback emo band, but kind of in the lonely island vein where the songs are only half serious? I think?

 

I mean the bit has kind of run its course. Only amusing slightly now because he's getting actual band members now

 

That was fun.

 

"Sucker" is such a good song. Makes me so happy whenever it comes on

 

Is that a real band or a pop punk parody thing?

 

I wore their og easycore hoodie for like 2 years as my one method of upper body warmth.

My friends who are / were in a band heard through some other band (great details, I know) NFG was doing a new red one with a new lyric.

Since we were really cool and spent our time wisely, we theorized on the replacement lyric. I guessed correctly.

I should be embarrassed that I'm still proud of guessing right, but I'm not. Also, I'm old in case anyone is doing the math on this story.

 

my very first piece of band merch was that as a shirt lol. red easycore shirt with "being wrong never felt so right."

Its a Catalyst and Radiosurgery kind of day.

 

Seeing them on Sunday. First time since 2012 that they aren't a headliner (and that was Warped Tour).

Wonder what the set will look like. Hoping they either do "King of Wishful Thinking" or " I Slept with Someone..."

 

Not familiar with that NFG song. Fall Out Boy have one called that tho haha

 

I was confused for a minute. But realizing now that NFG is opening for FOB in LA this weekend, and Chad has guest vocals on the FOB song "I Slept With Someone..."

Didn't know that until today!

pretty rad for them at the time to get a peer on as a guest. everyone else on FUTCT was their friends (brendan, billy)
