First time in this thread but Makes Me Sick was already their best record IMO since NWAF and MMSA is more amazingness. Heaven Sent is SO GREAT! Can’t wait for FTSTYS3

  5. Had to go back and check, but yeah I made a comment about that song when this album leaked that it sounded like a pop punk 1975 song haha. I don’t think the riffs are completely identical but there’s an uncanny resemblance for sure

idk, doesn't feel like any of the hype this record had has made it this far. feels like it was released ages ago. i like the album btw and if hopeless still feel like pushing it then that must be good for the band, so yeah that's cool with me

If you don’t think it’s at least the best since Coming Home I’ll laugh at you, and personally I think it’s more consistent with stronger songs than CH. The only other contender I’d think about at all is S&S, and this one gets the edge from me by virtue of me having experienced the album when it actually released, in addition to it being the perfect combination of the hooky pop-punk they’re good at and just the right amount of “new” elements.

Easily their best since Coming Home, top 3 or 4 overall.

I really thought this album was average. I didn't dislike any of the songs, but I didn't love any of them either. I'm surprised it got as much hype as it did.

Agreed that this is a top three or four album for them. Their best in a hot minute.
