I think mixing in bonus tracks is a cool thing to do, but I'm curious how this one will end up with the opener being a new song
I already put 20 Years From Now as the closer when it first came out so I'll probably add the other two on also lol
Yeah they swapped in Ready and Willing II and Vicious Love (feat. Hayley Williams) where the original tracks went and then moved the original tracks to the end of the album. Threw in another new song in the middle as well.
Two new songs (Crown and Enemy). All Time Low did it for Don't Panic as well. I'm okay with it honestly.
Blink did it with Neighborhoods too, they just released both at the same time which was pretty strange
I'm kind of over rereleasing an album a year later with stuff that could've been put on a deluxe edition when it was released the first time.
Idk, it's a good way to get some attention back on an album and give the cycle a little more longevity
Don't suppose there's any chance they'll change the lyrics to Party On Apocalypse to make them less cringe worthy is there
I agree especially because this summer is the first proper tour for this album. With them doing all the 20th anniversary shows last year. Honestly think they should have just released the album this year.
I love this album. I actually still listen to it fairly regularly so I'm happy to add a few new songs to it.
Yeah, i still listen to this one all the time too. No other NFG album has had close to the same staying power for me
Yeah, great album. Excited to hear the new songs. I love 20 years from now. Can't wait to see them in Philly in a few weeks!
It’s a fun thing to do these deluxe and alt versions. Album is still a little silly at moments, but I’m glad they are having fun and still going strong.
Heaven Sent is pretty good, love the guitar and verses, but the chorus is whatever, still think Your Jokes Aren’t Funny works better as an opener. Vacation Day is quite disposable and I totally see why it isn’t on original. 20 Years From Now remains my favorite of the three
I think we can all agree that 20 year from now should've been the original closer. Heaven Sent has that sweet guitar riff backed by that sweet synth playing the same riff. I don't mind the chorus that much. Other parts reminds me of Radiosurgery. Its a fun song. I actually really enjoyed Vacation Day. It has a throwback pop punk sound that reminds me of Descendents with a little quirkiness. I see why it didn't make the album. Still pretty cool song, imo. I dont think NFG has ever made a song that sounds like this?
Should've made a video for Barbed Wire, it's still the best song on here and would've made a great single.
