Agreed. LTYF was a take on MFOY and Mark Hoppus loved it, helped push that idea to Epitaph as a single.

Coming Home absolutely does NOT need a stylistic update. Hard disagree with Chad there.

Be weird for Chad to suggest redoing Coming Home when he defended it to the point of messaging dummies like me on MySpace who were disappointed with it lol

IDK. LTYF is a fine song. I think the riff on DLHPYD is very catchy and the song could have made a good lead single. I will say overall I think NWAF had the best picks for singles relative to the rest of the album than any of their other albums.

Listen To Your Friends is a banger. Easily the right choice for a single.

Oh yeah I played the shit out of that song when it came out. Pretty sure I bought it as a single on iTunes.

Lol the disappointment was strong, as I recall. I remember the bonus tracks being pretty solid...man, wish they'd release a massive b-sides compilation. So many extra songs floating around out there in various poor qualities.

I can’t imagine them making it better in any way. You can always play those songs live in a more “punk rock” way if you want, but re-recording them feels totally unnecessary.

I love this album so much. I always thought NFG had discovered britpop because I heard Oasis-like guitars in “On My Mind,” and the guitar intro of “Coming Home” sounds like a Blur song lol.

Album reviews are starting to trickle in. They’re all so wildly different:

    - 5/5 stars
    - 3/10
    - 7/10
    - 9/10

Most reviews calling out Boom Roasted and Medicine as stand outs.

Did the 3/10 reviewer accidentally listen to Forever and Ever x Infinity by mistake?

What? Literally all of the songs released, almost half the record, are riffy as hell and sound absolutely nothing like that lol

I’m so excited to have a new NFG album for this spring/summer. This band have seasonal albums for anyone else?

    Spring - Coming Home, self-titled

Summer - Sticks and stones, radiosurgery, infinity deluxe, makes me sick

Fall - catalyst, kill it live

Winter - not without a fight, December’s Here

The others I don’t really listen to.
