I gotta say, the Amazon vinyl variant actually looks pretty sweet.

The verses in Medicine don’t do a lot for me but I like the chorus enough

the verses of Medicine are kinda strange. Jordan's voice kinda sounds like Ryan Key. the chorus is fine. im like 3 listens in and Im kind of surprised how much i enjoy this.

Reminds me of a good mix of NWAF and Radiosurgery which I am good with

Needed another vocal pass on the verses on Medicine. Some of the line delivery is pretty weird.

Speaking of vocals, I really think Dream Born Again could have benefited from being recorded a half step down.

Personally I just don’t find it different enough from the original but it’s fine.

Medicine is probably the most interesting song the band has written since Makes Me Sick. Another round of edits on the lyrics and delivery of the verses could have pushed it to a top song for the band.

But I could see how others think it’s the worst or ruins the flow of the album.

I had Chad on my podcast a few weeks ago and that episode dropped today, diving into the new album, next year being the 30th anniversary of the band, creating his own zine and a bunch of other stuff.

He was also pretty open about his health recently - thankfully it sounds like he's steadily on the up.

Most (semi) recent pop punk albums haven't grabbed me, including those by veterans, but this rips. Frankenstein's Monster is my fav. No skips.
