The only NFG albums I listen to are Self Titled, NWAF, and Makes Me Sick. And sometimes when I'm on a long drive with my wife or something we will listen to some of their covers.
Here for the Radiosurgery praise and acknowledgement of the deluxe edition One of the few records I have ever listened to where I won't skip a single song
Radiosurgery sounds like NFG trying to be The Ramones or something, but not doing a very good job. There are a couple songs that I liked though, if I remember right.
Deliberate or not, the songs weren't very good. I don't think I've tried listening to it even once since the first week it was out. It didn't connect with me at all.
Yeah I figured it might not have changed your opinion lol, just thought it was worth mentioning. Reminds me of what Chad said about if you don't like an NFG album there'll be another one in a couple of years
I'm browsing the album right now. "I'm Not The One" has an awesome chorus. I think that was the song that I originally liked when it came out.
I don’t hear any Ramones whatsoever in Radiosurgery. Himalaya is a real headscratcher. Really unnatural vibe
Compromise take (that also happens to be what I think): the Blitzkrieg Bop cover slaps but Mania is underwhelming This has also reminded me that back in the day Spotify had the entire EP but every song was mislabelled for some reason
Outside of the singles (and Sucker), I just never really liked it much. And I don't know if I would say it's their whole sound in one album. They have a lot of different sounds as a band.
The chorus with Cyrus' drumming in the background just gets me every time. This and I'm Not The One are right behind Trainwreck and Memories
