To me the music video for Greatest of All Time really enchanced the song

I’ve given it a chance, but this album has been quite disappointing...

I played this super loud today. Its just fine. Couple songs too long. All Time Low will blow it out the water for summery pop punk

All Time Low isn't much pop punk anymore though are they?

What even is "pop punk" these days

Unpopular opinion (and I'm by no means saying anything bad about the new All Time Low stuff), but I think I still slightly prefer a trimmed down version of the new NFG album. However, that could change once I hear the new ATL album in its entirety (they definitely win in the lyrics department this time around). But yeah, the 2 bands aren't exactly great comparisons at this point.

@Jason Tate have you heard that missing track yet?

The 3-4 songs that are out for ATL are better than this entire album and it's by a very far margin

Serious question: Is it possible to agree with this statement but still enjoy the NFG album more?

haha, I mean you can always do whatever you want, but that is a strange thing IMO

Not really. Like I know everything is better than TTTYG but I still enjoy that album more than all but one FOB album.

  16. I know that Blink isn't the best band in the world, but they're still my favorite band, although there are many bands I'd rather listen to these days, usually. So yeah, I get it.

I do have to say, and it's been said before, that I was really hoping for another album in the vein of Coming Home.

Me too! I kind of felt From Screen To Stereo would get the fun and silliness out. Sounded great and a real welcome additional to the Screen To Stereo series and NFG discography.

The new album is fine, but it’s gonna end up way down on the list of favourites or memorable.

I was hoping for insightful/reflective Coming Home mature album with NFG classic Pop punk moments. I was hoping for a nice guest vocal appearance by Ryan Key. I was hoping Will Pugh would have produced it (the new album production is fine so I’m complaining about that). Just thought there would certain things that wanted go for on this. Chad’s is fiancée, Lisa is from a family of singers. I thought maybe a cameo of a bunch of those ladies singing a big harmony part.

I will add though, I’m glad they are still making music, having fun and sounding like NFG. Love them putting 15 songs out there, and working hard to please fans. I like them trying to do a faster record with Steve Evetts.

Maybe it just land as well and wasn’t what “I” wanted exactly. Still going to listen to this band and I still hope they revisit a Coming Home styled record in the future.

Not sure if it's the system I'm listening to the album on but the production leaves a lot to be desired for me, especially bass and drums. Something feels "off" about it but I can't quite identify what it is...maybe someone else can articulate it. Or maybe it's just me hah.

With Ryan Key, they could very well return to the spirit of Coming Home. He is a good lyricist, a worthy substitute for Steve Klein

Does anybody have a good copy of Puzzles they could send me? I deleted it from my Apple Music and didn’t have the file saved anywhere :worried:

Even for just a song. I know he’s been touring with them, but it would be cool to hear 1 song wrote and performed together. We got a very small sampling before. I realize he is busy working on his own music, outside projects, and producing an not joining the band. It’d just be a nice combo.
