This song is really good. I like it a lot better than most of, if not all, the songs on 'Resurrection'. A big step up in the overall sound (production, mixing, etc...) from a lot of stuff on the last album IMO. The video like a few said above is a movie spoof, but it also fits in with the album title nicely.
didn't watch the video, but that was my initial thought from the thumbnail of the video. surprised more people didn't pick up on that.
Yup, it's a NFG song. Dig the little bit of synth in the beginning. I think that "I don't think we should talkkkkk anymoreee" line is a little rough but hey I dig it the song overall.
Just listened to it. A lot better than I remember it being. Not sure why I only listened to it for a couple weeks after it came out. I'll chalk it up to other new releases.
Really enjoyed the song, but couldn't finish that video. Very excited for the album though. Definitely pre-ordering.
Aren't a majority of NFG's current fan base (I'm talking the ones introduced to them through the last two albums in particular) a little young to even understand the movie they're referencing in the video? Hahaha I do like the song, and I'm generally a big fan of their singles; this is one band who can maintain the basic principles of their formula but def need to add in some new stuff to the mix (which they've clearly done here). Aaron is a good choice to produce so I'm very interested to hear the results!
I would say the majority of NFG's fan base are fans that have been with them since Self Titles or Sticks and Stones.
I could tell it was a homage to something as with a lot of NFG vids but didn't know what. Should watch SBM, I've been on a catching up on classic films I never saw kick this year So far.. Crocodile Dundee Karate Kid RoboCop Karate Kid 2 Heaps to go I've embarrassingly never seen I even had Little Britain flashbacks seeing the clip
Most I've liked a NFG song on first listen since probably 2005 or whenever Catalyst came out. Stand By Me
