People can hate on resurrection, but it’s still light years better than forever and ever x infinity.

 

It is, but that’s a super low bar.

I don’t know if it’s the production or the lack of a second guitarist, but Resurrection sounded super empty and lifeless. Completely packed that oomph that past records had. I enjoy some of the songs quite a bit, but the record doesn’t sound good.

I pretty much fully agree with that tier list, although I struggle with separating tier 2 from tier 1. In reality that is probably true that those are just below tier 1.

 

This is the way.

 

The gap between tier 1 and 2 is definitely smaller than the gap between tier 2 and 3, in my book.
