Could they (Tom and Travis) troll us about this release month and release the album more soon ?

 

This grinds my gears. Why even mention a new album last year? Should’ve just announced the tour and dropped a new song as a treat but kept silent about an album until they were ready.

 

Seriously. I was 100% expecting the album to drop before seeing them on this tour. I don't hate that they played all their hits but new material would have been nice.

 

lol was just thinking why there hasn't been a second single (same for FOB).

My guess the album will end up being pushed to 2024

This is fantastic news. Just wish it was sooner. I can wait!! So excited to see them and then Yellowcard here in Atlanta back to back weeks.

 

Seeing as Tom is trying to sing like old Tom I don’t mind that they aren’t playing new songs. we get to experience the version of blink we grew up to which we haven’t heard since the first breakup. If halfway into the tour they add a new song then that will be tops. Until then I’m holding out for a Stockholm Syndrome or maybe something fun like Josie or Apple Shampoo.

they probably had to push it back for the vinyl to be ready. I'm just glad to be getting new blink with Tom!

 

While I'm definitely excited, I think it’s perfectly justified for people to be mad about an album coming out a year later after a band puts out a single and takes preorders.

 

How dare they have a release timeline

 

as long as they don't release every song but two the way tom did for AVA's lifeforms lawlz

 

If they plan on releasing on vinyl and haven't finished tracking/mixing the record then this is absolutely going to happen.

 

People will always find something to complain about. We have waited so long to see these guys back together, I get emotional just seeing them back on the same stage, having fun, and enjoying being a band again. Unfortunately, it's never enough for some people. Always looking for the next thing that irritates them. Just sit back and enjoy what we have again, anything else is honestly a bonus.

 

I think being “mad” about this is extremely silly.

They didn't put a concrete date on the preorders, so anyone who pre-ordered did so knowing that they were getting in early on something that wouldn't necessarily be coming anytime soon. They announced the comeback with tour dates and a new single, people got hyped, and then it was up to the fans if they wanted to go ahead and get an order in. That's also the number one way to gauge vinyl production numbers. If you pre-ordered an album without a concrete release date, I think it's silly to be upset.

 

i preordered it, i dont care when its coming, i just am happy to have a copy when it does eventually come out! i think i ordered the pink variant
