NYC moved to the Grand Ballroom at Webster Hall. Personally really upset by this. I bought tickets for the show when it was in the studio (400 cap), was a little peeved when they moved it to the Marlin (600 cap) but was able to deal, and now it's in the Grand Ballroom which is over 1,500 cap and they always oversell it. Wish Boston was announced earlier because it won't be bumped and holds about 500 or so people. Webster constantly bumping up the show to bigger rooms is agitating.
They're not - but they're playing the EP's that people used to be obsessed with. People stopped seeing them because they just kept releasing music that no one cared about, but people want to go to this because back in the day, people were absolutely obsessed with these EP's. It's another nostalgia tour, but it's going to be way more successful than some other ones that have happened recently (WTK10, CIWWAF10, etc)
Holy shit! I can't think of another Webster Hall show that moved through all 3 rooms because of the demand. Usually it's a bump up or bump down a level but this is crazy! Also, I totally understand your frustration. Usually, they would just add a 2nd show while still keeping it in The Studio. Looking at the calendar for Webster Hall and his tour routing, there was nothing available.
Me Like Bees have toured with NSN multiple times, they've been on almost ever NSN tour since 2012 if I remember correctly. Pretty sure the only touring they do is with NSN lol
I'm really unfamiliar with NSN and their live show. Is it Christofer and Me Like Bees as his backing band (like Anthony Green and Good Old War) or is it 2 different groups of people?
I'd assume its two different groups of people. Haven't seen NSN since 2012 so I haven't seen them either but just looked on Google and they have their own music.
Gotcha. Yeah Good Old War had a great gig opening for Anthony (with their own music) and also being his backing band. I'm kind of surprised more bands don't do this with established artists.
