Sex Education and Russian Doll were both fantastic.
Finally watched Minding the Gap. That was an awesome piece of art.
So, uh, what's up with these new plans Netflix is rolling out?
Yeah, anyone know when Netflix is jacking the prices for existing customers? My next bill is still just $13.99 for UHD
Got to meet Natasha Lyonne for a brief 20-30 seconds in NYC about a week and a half ago. I had free time to walk Soho and shop after my last work day there was over, and as I made my way back to midtown to catch my train she just happened to be walking out of a media building where she had gotten interviewed about Russian Doll.
Pretty cool considering I’ve been watching her act since Dennis as a kid. Can’t say she was abhorrently friendly, but she did take photos and sign some autographs. Got to kind of just thank her for her work and said I found her to be hilarious/believable in OITNB, she gave me a thanks and said she appreciated the kind words. Made my day, and now I need to watch this movie soon.
Binged Sex Education today and I liked it a lot.
I know it was mentioned a few pages back, but "Abducted in Plain Sight"... WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?!?!?!
It's insane. What is wrong with those parents?
I can understand there was some level of brainwashing but
letting a 40 year old man sleep in the same bed next to your 12 year old daughter while listening to those creepy ass tapes because it's part of his "therapy"????
Are you fucking kidding me?
Not to mention that
Dad's jerking this guy off, Mom's banging him, the 12 year old is "in love with him" and none of them are even remotely aware about the others -- then these idiots signed an affidavit to save this guy... Even though the government felt they had a moral obligation to society to prosecute
Beyond insane. Utterly unbelievable.
so yeah Russian Doll is brilliant and perfect and amazing
I have despised Barbara since I had to read her book in college she has always been such an out of touch liberal who looks down on others.
I have no idea who that person is but fucking ooof. get fucked
wtf ya fuck that
Been on a horror kick lately, so tonight I watched Hush. Fun home invasion thriller.
Easily the most tense and anxiety ridden movie I've ever seen
Um, eXcUsE ME?! Is Marie Kondo even American? FFS.
She later said the fact that she doesn’t speak English as a Japanese woman points towards America losing global power, which is nonsense.
Anyway, the whole thing is nonsense, because if you watch the whole season you can clearly hear which parts have been filmed later because her English is improving dramatically (which makes sense because she and her family live in California now).
Also, I love Marie. I have read the book too and I’m currently trying to implement it.
jesus christ. how do people like this even still exist?
I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but that new Scorcese movie with Pacino, DeNiro and Pesce was bought by Netflix.
As far as I know it’s always been a Netflix movie, but now it has an actual release date. It has an astonishingly big budget.
It was made for Netflix
Oh woops didnt know that!
I also just watched the Ray Romano stand up special. Surprisingly hilarious.
