Daredevil season three. It's the best season in every regard. Huge step up!

 

And Everything Sucks. And Atypical

 

The way season 3 was promoted made it seem like they’re trying too hard to be dark and edgy, like DC. But I’ll give it a try. Do I need to see Defenders first? I know it took place before this. Is there any crossover?

 

And Lovesick

 

Everything Sucks looks alright. I’ve been weary about Atypical since I have two family members on the spectrum, so I’m always critical of how it’s portrayed in entertainment. I’ll give it a try though.

 

I didn’t mention it in my OP, but The End of the Fucking World is great. It’s a really dark comedy. Quirky and weird coming-of-age tale.

 

Everything Sucks is great. It reminds me of Freaks and Geeks in a lot of ways

I can't speak to the accuracy of how autism is handled in Atypical. I know it's gotten some criticism in that regard, but from what I read it was handled better in season 2 (partially because they added some actors on the spectrum)

Best Marvel Netflix (probably one of my favorites even if you include the Marvel movies).

It spoils the end of Defenders a bit, but it should be all good. It’s a new story arc with Fisk.

 

Just finished Outlaw King. Recommended if you like brutal medieval battle scenes.

 

Just finished Apostle.
Daaaaaaaamn. That’s one of the best horror films I’ve seen in a while. Very original and well made.

 

Not technically an original but an exclusive, Wanderlust is amazing.

I just finished season one and yeah I recommend it. It's a 30 minute show and there's only 12 episodes total so definitely worth trying

It's not anime though, just a violent animated series

 

My friend just showed me that Derren Brown special 'Sacrifice' I'm skeptical about anything I watch as far as authenticity. Was that all real?

 

Jeopardy on Netflix is too good. But I need all the other seasons now.

I find Patriot Act to be far more entertaining and informal than Last Week Tonight is currently.

 

Has anyone watched Outlaw King?

 

I mostly stopped watching political satire ever since angry orange was inaugurated, for mental health reasons mostly, but I gave Patriot Act a shot and really enjoy it. The Break, not so much, sadly.
