Damn, Nathan For You was such a quick watch, I'm really bummed to have already finished! Wish he did more than 8 episodes a season, but if that means more quality episodes then I think it was worth it.

I am surprised at how universally praised the 2 hour finale seemed to be. Bill was a total creep and Nathan could have potentially put two different women in danger depending on just how creepy he could get.

To me, that episode took the "comedy" out of "awkward comedy" and just left it at "awkward".

 

Ahhhhhhhh John Mahoney from Frasier is in this episode of ER and ppl are disrespecting him!!!!!

On the downside busy Philips is in the show and I irrationally don't enjoy her

 

Really wanna see Fleabag, Good Omens, and S2 of Mrs. Maisel, as well as S2 of Big Little Lies eventually. I think I'm gonna jump back and forth between Hulu, Amazon, and HBO each month. Can't really have all three at once right now. The Spotify/Hulu deal is great, but I'm not using either of them enough to justify it, so I might drop Spotify completely. Hmmm

Oh and I might want to do a free trial of Sling or something, I need to finish up the last bit of Into the Badlands haha

Pen15 is so good but it barely counts as a comedy like wtf it's so not funny

I thought it was a horror show

 

I was either laughing out loud, hiding behind my hands in terror/embarrassment, or crying throughout the whole thing.

 

It's more uncomfortably awkward than laugh out loud funny, but like, I just didn't expect it to be so heavy.

I use it for books and audio. Haven't used it for video stuff.

They are apps that you have access to through your local library.

 

Just realized that hoopla has a bunch of the great late 1990s / early 2000s cartoon stuff. Will need to sign up for a new library card soon.
