This is so stupid. Is every network gonna have their own streaming service!? They expect us all to pay for every channels service smh

 

People have been saying for years and years that we’re just going to end up with cable again but called something else. It definitely gets more and more like that all the time.

 

It makes me wonder how long Hulu can last without more original content as networks continue doing stuff like this

I'm just now getting around to Ozark Season 2...I watched Season 1 like, 18 months ago right when it came out and loved it but then never got around to watching S2. Watched first two episodes last night, really liked it but honestly had trouble remembering a lot of what had occurred in S1.

 

I fall asleep to Forensic Files every night lol. My SO thinks it’s crazy to fall asleep to that because it’s too scary.

 

i thought Friends was staying for 2019? i thought i remember reading that they were going to take it off Netflix at the end of January but fans complained so Netflix ponied up the 30 FUCKING MILLION to keep it for another year.

 

I think it was $100 million to have it through December 2019 but it's non exclusive, meaning WB can concurrently put it on their platform as well

 

Might as well stick with cable at this point tbh

 

Hmm thinking of trying PEN15 club for the nostalgia. Looks like its getting overall good reviews

Checking out See No Evil, Hear No Evil and the first scene with Pryor on the subway has me laughing aloud already. Think I'll really like this movie

 

Watched Ken Jeong's standup last night. It was okay. Leaned too heavily into jokes from his past movies imo. But his interview on Hot Ones yesterday was hilarious

 

I have it added to my list. Rewatched Role Models last night though and he's so great in that.

 

Trigger Warning with Killer Mike is actually pretty great. The second episode with educational porn had me dying.

 

Also that Ken Jeong standup had some funny moments but for the most part it wasn't that great.

 

Ken never seemed all that funny to me, but what do I know...

 

He was hilarious in Community and Role Models. Wasn't huge into his character in The Hangover, though. But I also think that whole movie is overrated.

His hot ones appearance was hilarious because he really wasn't handling the heat well and just kept yelling "FUCK YOU, Sean" throughout the episode lol.

 

I binged the shit out of pen15. What nostalgia greatness

 

I'll have to check out his Hot Ones episode. I'm already a fan of that show, so maybe I'll come around on him more after watching that.

I thought he was decent in Community, but I wasn't as big of a fan of that show as most other people were. I thought it was fine, but after it left NBC, I didn't care enough to continue. Role Models is great, but I honestly don't even remember his character. May need to rewatch that.

 

Oh yeah!
