here I was thinking Alice in borderland and sweet home were both one season shows but nope now I gotta wait for a second season pain

Maybe a dumb question, but if I have HBO Max but not the old school channel HBO, can I still watch new shows the same day or do I have to wait a day like when Hulu gets shows the next day? Will I be able to watch Succession on Sunday as it airs or will I have to wait for Monday morning / evening?

 

The shows are up on Max the same time they air on HBO. Everything except for Last Week Tonight.

 

Quick rant, I friggin' hate how Apple+ kicks you back to the main menu if a show is paused for more than 5 minutes, and when you click the episode again it starts from the beginning and not where you left off.

 

I hate how Apple+ is the only app that crashes my Roku at random lol. Zero issues with any other app.

 

mine doesn’t start from the beginning after I get booted. It picks up where it left off. Maybe it’s a setting?

I did recently learn that if I hold down my “select” button on an episode in my watch next screen, another menu pops up for that episode/show that is really helpful.

 

Y’all The Premise on FX/Hulu is the best new show of 2021.

 

Really? I haven't watched it, but I got the vibe that it was bad bad not good. Interesting....

 

hmm. I’m three episodes in & strongly disagree. What were the key gripes?

 

The first episode of The Premise was hilarious, but then the next two were stinkers. Didn't watch anymore after, maybe I'll give it another shot.

S1 is only 5 episodes. The only one that seemed less than great to me was E4 but to each their own. E1 is the only one that tries to be supremely funny. The rest seem to go for amusing & thought provoking.

 

YOU is not going where I thought it would go 2 episodes in and i like it

 

I feel like I'm at a point where I'd rather watch a show from Love's perspective than Joe's
