I haven’t started The Circle season 3 bc it feels a bit too soon to when season 2 ended. I really enjoyed both seasons so it’s a bummer to hear the criticism.

 

I loved last week’s batch of circle eps! Haven’t watched today’s yet.

Justin long was so weirdly out of place. I was listening to his podcast and he mentioned he was trying to do a Pittsburgh accent and it did not work at all lol.

 

lol I watched that last summer but he was no where close to a Pittsburgh accent.

 

The first episode of the premise is bad

hbo max got me watching stand and deliver for the first time because I love Edward James Olmos

 

I know this isn’t the perfect place to put this but I just watched Shang Chi and it was funny with it being a disney property and all the trailers before it were Warner Bros movie and it felt like an ad for HBO Max lol

it had dune, king Richard, matrix and the sopranos movie as trailers

 

Loved the first episode of squid game. Reminds me of Alice in borderland

This is seems like a much better comp than giri/haji lol

 

Going through the 2nd episode, it really didn't go the direction I thought it would; I assumed the whole series would stay within the main event in the first episode. Seems like it'll focus on many more storylines and characters than I assumed at first. Overall high production values so far

 

White Lotus was fun

 

Hacks was fantastic, totally lived up to the praise I've been hearing for it. Really good example of word of mouth convincing me to watch something that I previously wasn't really aware of (although there are a ton of people involved in this that I really like so I don't know how I hadn't)

It also made me really want to watch Funny People again
