Is it The Affair, because that show is amazing when it's at it's best

 

It isn’t, but this definitely looks like something she’d be into — I’ll have to see if she’s heard of it. But nah it’s something called The Pursuit of Love

 

Never heard of that one, but yeah The Affair is solid, especially seasons 1, 2 and 5

 

Man it doesn't get anymore 90s hbo than oz.

 

I thought this would be a lot more morose than it is, and that's not to say it can't be utterly bleak in spots but it's mostly all handled with enough humor that it doesn't bum you out for the day

 

great show but I don't think it will end up remotely close to the big three for me

 

A big problem with Disney plus is that their shorts are maybe 2-3 minutes long but the credits are 2-3 minutes long and they play in full. As an adult I don't care but my 3 year old does, so I have to manually go to the next one since there's no autopay that skips the credits.

 

You can say you’ve braced yourself, but I can tell you it’s not enough.

 

Deadwood unfortunately never clicked for me. I tried a few episodes awhile back and I had no interest.

 

I'm almost done with season 1 and don't love it.

 

Hell yeah this gets me hyped

 

Everything after S4 gets worse and worse but once in awhile you get a scene that shows a tiny glimmer of hope, then it all goes to shit again. S7 was pretty good though.

 

it might end up being that it's not for you but I'd urge you to stay with it and just to try and keep an open mind about it because it really is such a great show

 

Deadwood is so good. That, the wire and the sopranos are the big 3 for me.

 

might have to watch The Wire again when I'm done with Six Feet Under

not really, at the start. they grow on you a lot. BTW...

on ep 13 and I kinda like Nate, Brenda, and Rico a little bit

David is very grating and I loathe Billy

 

Watching the vault now. I love dumb heist movies.

 

Really loved The Night Of. The end was sad but also perfect.

Season 2 is fine, it’s my least favorite but it’s still fantastic since all 5 seasons are top notch
