Wife and I have been watching and loving Harley Quinn. Should finish S1 tonight.

Kite Man, Bane, Clayface, and King Shark are all great.

 

Completely forgot about Dave Chappelle in it. Died laughing when he flicks the lit cigarette to a closed window.

 

Watched first two eps of Industry. Definitely not finishing the rest lol. Not a fan.

 

I've probably watched that movie like 5 times over the years. One of my favorite sci fi movies. Absolutely no special effects, super low budget, and only 8 actors in the whole movie, and it still manages to keep you on the edge of your seat.

 

Coherence is one of the best movies of last decade

Midnight Sky is dumb

just drags on wayyy too much and is entirely predictable. some beautiful visuals, though.

 

The Endless is good too. Haven’t seen Synchronic.

 

I didn't even know they had a new one! Endless fell apart a bit for me in the last 10 minutes but everything before that was killer

 

Watched Upload on Prime and it was not at all what I was expecting but I really enjoyed it. Wasn't hilarious but the story is genuinely interesting and the chemistry between the two leads is great, I was really invested in their relationship by the end. Glad it's already renewed

 

industry was great. really cohesive and well plotted out story, especially in the last four episodes, which feel of a piece. very excited for season 2. it isn’t succession but british - that does both shows a disservice.

 

Industry felt a bit over the top, for me, with drugs and sex for little reason besides aesthetic. I also have no clue what they’re talking about 90% of the time, or why I’m meant to care.

 

the show is much more about toxicity in the workplace than it is any of the other stuff you’re mentioning, which are just framing devices to set up the toxicity

watch more than 1/4 of the show haha. it’s good.

 

I need season 2 of Alice in borderland now

Watched Blue Streak with my wife last night... she, one who ALWAYS has this reaction "is this an old movie" when I say it's movie night and I put something on, actually liked this one, much like nearly every other movie I have her watch.

 

Damn now I want to watch Blue Streak. Always loved that one
