This thought just popped into my head so I figure I'd post in here

Is there a streaming service that has a large selection of B-movies from the 80s/90s? I'm looking for mainly cheesy sci-fi and action movies

Wow, I had no idea that came out. Can’t imagine there’s any reason to watch it instead of the original again.

He was great in The Hunt, it’s a fantastic Danish film from 2012 (no relation to the movie that was supposed to come out this year)

it has good performances from michelle williams, julianne moore and billy crudup but yes the original is much better. the leads are gender-flipped.

It had been in the pipeline for a while right? Or am I mixing that up with something. I might try it if it makes it to streaming just for the women.

I didn’t grow up in Ireland, but I did grow up in 90s and post 9/11 high alert Europe and that show is cathartic

Update: No, not really. His performance is pretty bananas and elevates it for sure, but there’s a TON of violence against women that is mostly used to make the male
protagonist sad, and a lot of the story makes absolutely no sense. It doesn’t fully commit to the weirdness either so it’s just kind of in a limbo. If you’re a huge fan of his it might be worth a shot, but the problematic elements keep it from being pure trashy fun.
