was hoping someone could tell me that lol. I haven't started it yet.

 

Peter Krause is one of the best television actors ever

 

Joshua Malina is great too. Honestly everyone in Sports Night was great. Felicity Huffman (despite what she did, great actress), Robert Guillaume, Peter Krause, Joshua Malina, Josh Charles, and William H Macy

 

finished watching scary movies 1-3 and now I’m debating if I should just deep dive the whole spoof genre again.

 

Sports Night is a favorite of mine, and I watch it on a yearly basis. What a stacked cast.

 

Aaron Sorkin straight up just reused storylines and episodes in other shows because Sports Night failed haha

The best line is how pissed he was at the network for cancelling the show so in the show they sold Sports Night and had a character say "Anybody who can't make money off Sports Night should get out of the money-making business."

 

Oh yeah. He's notorious for it. Sorkinisms. He'd re-use lines, stories, actors etc. I've watched both Sports Night and West Wing a bunch of times. They're basically comfort shows for me. And the amount of overlap between those two and then even his other projects is comical.

 

It's really funny, I love Sorkin, but it's so funny

 

If anyone's looking for a new show to watch, I recommend Lockwood and Co. It's based on a supernatural YA book series. The world and character building is miles better than most supernatural Netflix shows. The story is set in a Britain which is plagued by ghosts and only kids/teens can see them. So a group of three friends have their own agency and go on ghost hunting jobs. There's a bigger mystery about the how the ghost problem started as well. It has some similarities to Harry Potter. Created by Joe Cornish (Attack the Block).

I'm disappointed that Wednesday, a far inferior show is doing so well while this has yet to be renewed for a 2nd season. If only the main character had a dance scene go viral on Tiktok. Anyways, it's really worth watching. Check it out please.

 

As much as I love Jenna Ortega in that role (and in general), I've had my own qualms with Wednesday as a whole; however, I am surprised to see it described as being "far inferior" to something haha

Lockwood and Co. sounds interesting (despite your bringing up that-which-must-not-be-named) but I'm reluctant to start a YA show that has only one season and may be on the cusp of getting canceled. Paper Girls getting canceled hurt too much

that said I cancelled Netflix cos their determination to cancel all their good shows was giving me heart palpitations. maybe I'll check that out on a friend's account sometime

 

I should also mention I'm a big fan of the books which is why I'm so adamant it gets renewed. The first season covers two books. There are three more.

I remember seeing him say that years ago but hadn't heard anything about it since. really hope it happens especially now Whittaker and Boyega have some free time on their schedules

I don’t buy the Gunn/Safran train but

 

Feels like Zazlav pulling strings to cover his own ass, I don't think Safran himself believes it was unreleasable. Even Fraser said the damn thing was unfinished--of course you don't release an unfinished movie, but you don't fucking cancel it. Fraser and Keaton signed on, the script at least must've had some merit to it. I refuse to believe the guys behind Ms. Marvel, one of the best MCU shows, would've made a bad movie. What hurts the most is we would've gotten a POC Barbara AND her trans friend Alysia. Absolutely unforgivable
