funny enough I didn’t even watch that show during those years so after breaking bad I learned he was on that show too

Been using Disney+ a lot lately and it’s very bizarre to me that, at least when viewing on a FireStick that when I pause, literally nothing shows on the screen besides the pause icon. How much time is left in the movie or show? No idea. What to jump ahead to another scene or episode? No idea how. At first I assumed it was just like that for certain old shows or movies but seems to be for everything.

Prob a dumb question, but is prime video worth it? And can you get prime video without an amazon prime account? I don’t shop on amazon enough to pay for prime, plus I hear they don’t ship in 2 days anymore. Netflix stopped having decent content and I’m bored re watching the same things

Surprised to hear that on a Fire stick since it's android based. I don't have that issue on my Chromecast with Google TV or Shield TV

I believe its only like $8-9 for JUST prime video, but if you're just looking for some different stuff to watch compared to netflix then I'd recommend signing up for a month (i think they do a month free trial) to see if its worth it. If you've never used it I think you'll easily find something worth watching since they've built up a pretty big catalogue of original content over the years, on top of a pretty decent collection of other full series and movies if you know what you're looking for. I've had it for years and still usually find stuff worth watching at least a couple times a month.

I don’t know how different prime video is in the US, but it’s easily the worst service in Canada imo

That is unfortunately a thing specific to the Canadian version of prime, I've seen lots of people complain it sucks ass compared to the US version. I think its a licensing issue but I'm no expert in that stuff so cant confirm.

I noticed this on Roku too and I kind of like it. I can just click up to see how much time has gone by.

I had a feeling. Netflix used to be a steaming pile of shit here the first few years as well, but it’s steadily improved over time

I binged the entirety of Pretty Little Liars a few years ago so it can't be any worse

I never watched Riverdale but I remember reading comments under some unrelated article about another show and the conversation had somehow shifted to Riverdale. They all kept mentioning “the rocket scene” and I had no idea what they were talking about so I looked it up. Out of context it sure is…something.

I avoided This Is Us for awhile because I saw a tweet about a character dying because of a faulty crockpot. Didn’t have anymore context at the time.

    Parenthood is great.

I like Peter Krause. Did anyone watch Sports Night? He was great in that.

Sports Night is so good. Parenthood was better than it had any business being. Six Feet Under is an all timer. Dirty Sexy Money was a hidden gem. What I'm saying is Peter Krause the GOAT

Dirty Sexy Money was all over the place, but I enjoyed it! He is just perfect in his roles.

I wish Sports Night kept going. They all had such good chemistry together. Josh Charles was great in that show.
