If any changes with streaming come from this Disney CEO shakeup i hope it's them taking 20th Century and Searchlight IP/library on Hulu a little more seriously. I kind of wish the 20th century and Searchlight library on Hulu was more complete and more heavily featured.

I understand there might be previous streaming deals but I just want Hulu to be for 20th/Searchlight what Disney+ is for Pixar/Marvel/Lucasfilm. Like i want to be able to binge every single Planet of Apes/Alien/Predator/Die Hard/Kingsman movie whenever i want and not cross my fingers and hope they weren't taken off for months at a time. They did it with FX i can't see why they can't work towards doing the same with 20th/Searchlight.

 

the new season of Inside Job on Netflix is great. surprisingly emotional towards the end

 

I just signed up for Peacock Premium at $0.99 for the next 12 months!! What a deal.

Idk if it was previously announced but the D+/ESPN+/Hulu bundle is going up to the $14.99on 12/28. But the email I got also said they will no longer be offering that bundle after 12/8 to new or existing customers that want to switch tiers.

 

kids and I just watched Christmas Chronicles last night, they definitely enjoyed it.

 

I really liked the first Christmas chronicles, but the second one wasn’t great

 

Klaus is a great Christmas movie

 

That movie made me cry.

"Best shows of the 2022 tier list" is going to be so hard this year. 2022 was such a great year for tv.

I am thinking now when i make my list if i should just split it in two and just put original series and franchise series in their own separate categories.

 

I'll say this though my streamer of the year? Hulu without question.
