I watched one episode and it felt pretty on par with the original. I enjoyed and will definitely keep watching.

 

I'll check this out because i'm interested in what a Terence Winter/Taylor Sheridan showrunning callab looks like, but this is pretty much the same exact plot as Lilyhammer (which was the first ever Netflix Original IIRC) just trading a small Nordic town with a mid-tier bible belt American city. They even have the same exact "fish out of water mobster gathers his ragtag group of loyal local criminals to combat the city's rival motorcycle gang" subplot lol.

I watched the After The Altar episodes recently and I cant believe how casually they mention at the very end that both married couples are now divorced lol

 

oh shit I totally forgot about love is blind s3 coming. I know what I'm starting tonight!

 

Three episodes left of Friday Night Lights and man I really do love these characters. Seeing Coach Taylor and Buddy act as character witnesses for Tim and having him come home was emotional. Same with Vince trying to convince Coach to stay in Dillon. I don’t want it all to end!

Started the new season of unsolved mysteries and idk I always get super uncomfortable when families are adamant that their relative didn't commit suicide because of various tropes like "they were always happy" and "they had future plans!" I'm cynical and feel like it's often denial. I'm sure there are some cases where it's legit something else, but I think much of the time it's more likely than a lot of the conspiracy theories.

Never seen the movie but I certainly remember the video game. Classic.

 

I looooooooved this movie when I was a kid. The princess was one of my first animated crushes as a little boy lol. I saw that live action trailer recently and I can’t believe they actually made this and somehow it slipped under the radar.

 

I simultaneously loved this movie while being creeped out by many scenes in it as a kid lol

 

Since Little Nemo is being brought back up again, I’ll just repost this here from the Movies That Didn’t Actually Happen thread when it was also mentioned there:

I absolutely loved this movie as a kid. Rewatching as an adult with my kids, the script and story definitely doesn’t hold up nearly as well as I remember, but I still love the animation. That said, several years ago I discovered that there had been three previous attempts at Little Nemo, each one with a “pilot” film you can find on YouTube. One of them was done by Yoshifumi Kondō, who is now known as one of the greats from Studio Ghibli. You can see what his version would have been like here before he left the project, and it’s definitely a missed opportunity:

The other one I really liked was done by Osamu Desaki, which you can see here:

Desaki also left the project and it’s a damn shame purely based on his depiction of the Nightmare King as this pulsing red eye in the sky, which is utterly terrifying.



So anyway, yeah, super hyped to watch this new one with my kids. It’s Little Nemo! Talk about your forgotten properties.

 

It would be really neat if the little girl is Nemo's daughter

 

the movie was definitely creepy in many ways, Jason Momoa is way less creepy than the animated version of Flip lol

 

Sick, it's on Amazon Prime, I might rewatch it tonight

 

Started Interview with the Vampire. Digging what i'm seeing so far.

 

I also remember it, used to love it.

Finished Friday Night Lights. Really love how it ended. What a great show.

 

Anyone check out Peripheral on Amazon Prime yet? She-Hulk, Rings of Power, and HotD are over and I need a new live-action drama to follow. The trailers have all looked good.
