I'm honestly thinking about giving Man Seeking Woman a rewatch. Criminally underrated comedy.

On episode 3 of The Terminal List, starring Chris Pratt; nothing special, but not bad either. Fairly grim tone, so not a good watch if you’re not down for that kind of mood

 

How is Taylor Kitsch? Thinking of watching for him

 

He’s only played a supporting role so far, but appears he’ll be a lot more involved in the next episodes. Pretty decent acting

 

Pratt’s acting in this is actually pretty good as well

 

The story's been great up until episode 6, where it starts getting out of hand/into more absurd territory

This Satanic Panic stuff and Metallica on Strangers Things made me go back and rewatch the Paradise Lost documentaries on the West Memphis Three (available on HBO Max)

My dad let me watch it with him when I was a kid back in 1996 when it came out. I think it might be the first true crime doc i ever watched. I don't know why he did that since the first shot is absolutely gruesome.

 

My gf just watched those for the first time and I got parts of it again and it’s just so depressing.

 

people clown on true detective but s3 did some legit great playing with that era

 

Watched the first two Paradise Losts last night. As far as substance the 2nd one felt like filler/them chasing evidence and leads that eventually led to nothing, but the stuff with the barred out stepdad cutting a wrestling promo everytime he's on camera was incredibly entertaining.

Going to watch the 3rd one and West Of Memphis tonight. Debating on if I should watch the Devil's Knot movie with Reese Witherspoon, i heard it sucked?

 

Finally started The Americans a few months back. Been taking it real slow, but we’re on season 5 currently. It’s one of those shows I always saw ads for throughout years of watching other shows on FX, knew I would love but just never got around to. Anyway, it’s really really great. I love the way this show lets a plot unfold

 

10min into RRR and it's already the most over-the-top far-fetched thing I've ever seen. I'm loving it.

 

Just saw that Freeheld is on HBOMax now! Highly recommend it and think a lot of here will love it. It feels especially relevant right now rights getting stripped away from the LGBTQ+ community left and right

 

I started it and only got about 30 minutes in but that dude jumping the fence and fighting off 1,000 dudes to get the one dude was awesome.

 

Finished my wormhole of watching everything West Memphis 3 related. The first Paradise Lost is the best film of the bunch. West Of Memphis felt like they like "hey you know what was wrong with Paradise Lost trilogy? Not enough celebrities!" The Devil's Knot movie sucked. Terry Hobbs 100% did it.
