Hey, Lucifer is great!

 

Evil is great, but I've always been a fan of what the Kings are doing on TV. It's also nothing like Lucifer. It's more like a theological X-Files.

 

Hustle was good. I thought all the cameos would get annoying, but it actually lended some authenticity to the whole thing and made it feel like it was actually happening in the real world.

 

lol I may be jaded by how different he is from the graphic novel character but either way it’s just not for me

 

Speaking of dramas that were considered too good to be on CBS starring Michael Emerson, Person of Interest is on HBO Max. Never really gave that a shot. Maybe i'll try to tackle that next.

 

I still have to watch the final season but my biggest gripe with Lucifer has always been that it’s a show about the devil in Los Angeles and there’s no mention of cocaine, a thing a devil in Los Angeles would absolutely be using

 

The glowing reviews of Evil on Metacritic make me want to check it out, especially since it's not a CBS show any more.

 

It basically is though, no? The 2nd season was completely filmed before they decided to release it exclusively on P+, I can't imagine much would change between S2 and S3 for a show of that ilk but maybe I'm way off

 

Oh for sure. I'm just saying I'm more inclined to watch it now since it kind of has the stink of CBS off of it. It's very petty of me.

 

Finally pulled the trigger on a Peacock subscription and started blowing through Girls5Eva. This show is so damn funny, definitely a heavy 30 Rock vibe.

I also watched that new Jack Gyllenhaal movie Ambulance (also on Peacock). That was...not good.

 

Justice for "Ambulance" being a fun movie.

 

Ambulance fuckin rocks.

Ambulance is a fun. I could see myself revisiting it every so often like I do the rock or a few other Michael bay movies.

 

Watched the new Father of the Bride. Kinda missed the narration that the father provides. Also felt like it missed on some things. The yacht scene took me out of it though. The stage set up for that was so bad.

 

Evil is great and the most recent season is definitely embracing the fact that it's no longer on CBS

 

The new season of Iron Chef on Netflix is so good.

 

Was just talking about starting that up soon, good to hear

 

I was a bit disappointed with the Justin Willman episode because I thought they would allow him to do more magic but it’s not a huge deal.
