Ready to get started on the boys season 3 tonight or tomorrow! Though to be honest, it may be a tough watch as it gets a little too real in todays political climate but we'll see how it goes and if I can stomach it. All the major buzzworthy shows at the minute are pretty dark. I need something fun for a change.

Finished The Afterparty. I loved every minute of it. While I liked the killer reveal was hoping for a little bit different

 

I watched one or two episodes of Physical and it was too depressing for me.

 

I don’t think that’s really a good judge of the show. It gets better. Yes, the first couple episodes are tough with her struggling with bulimia.

 

Randomly put on The Ring as background noise since I probably haven’t seen it since I saw it in theaters and never quite understood how we got to a house on the farm and the horses and a cliff or some shit lol and oh my god I forgot the seemingly decades long run of every fucking horror movie having the “too smart for their own good” 5 year old trope. This Aiden kid is like the serious Kevin from Home Alone or something and it drove me nuts at the time and still does. So many movies ruined for me because of how they wrote these adult kids lol

Hahaha my bf started us on the new season of the boys but didn't realize until it was over that he started on episode 3 instead of 1. We just thought we forgot some things from the gap between seasons.

 

I finally started the south side and am 5 episodes in, what a show.

 

Was able to get through both newest seasons of Love On The Spectrum and Somebody Feed Phil before my Netflix expired. Both just as wholesome as ever

 

Best show.

 

I started watching Pivoting on Hulu, and now I'm bummed to see it got cancelled after the first season. Why do networks have no patience?? The show has a 100% rating on rotten tomatoes. The show only premiered a few month ago, they didnt even give it time for an audience to grow.

Finished season 1 of south side and I hope this show gets 10 seasons. So fucking good.

I think I like Bust Down even more, honestly.

 

I know it isn't super well regarded in here, but I finally caught up with and finished Modern Family on Hulu and up for a round 2 now. Say what you will, but Ty Burrell never disappoints. The man is fucking hilarious.

Jay is just a carbon cutout of my grandfather so there's a sense of familiarity there for me, too

 

Still haven't seen the final season... should probably get around to doing that.

 

The final season actually ended pretty well. I think the two seasons before the final really showed that it ran it's course then the final one was able to end on their terms

Anyone looking for pretty ridiculous but amusing shows to watch with your sig other on Netflix: The game shows Bullshit and season 2 of The Floor is Lava both fit the bill.
