  1. All caught up on the HBO adaptation of The Staircase. Pretty good so far. Was surprised to see Dane DeHaan because it seemed like he'd disappeared after Cure for Wellness and Valerian, but apparently he's just been doing TV for the last few years.

Hearing about all the bts drama of this show has me watching it through a conflicted lens. Also makes me wonder if I should retroactively evaluate the doc series differently. Still, both are very compelling.

I haven’t watched the HBO Staircase series yet and I once I do I will be livid if they did not recreate the scene from the actual documentary where the lawyer is absolutely fuming at the PowerPoint/visual aid guy during their practice run. Holy shit that was the best 2-3 minutes of anything I’ve seen in quite some time and while a reenactment could never touch on the actual scene it is required imo for anything concerning this story.

Just finished Halo; pretty happy with it overall. What really makes the series is the high production value; just impressive throughout. Not being too familiar with the Halo storyline, I'm really intrigued with where they take the story from here

  4. I gave up on Halo after four episodes. I was hoping for either a closer adaptation of the games or an interesting standalone sci-fi story and I didn’t feel like I was getting either.

Checking out Love on the Spectrum on Netflix, anything that brings awareness/education to Autism is A+ in my book. On the first episode and it already seems like it is in really good taste.

The preview reminded me of a show on A&E a few years ago called Born This Way. We loved Born This Way. On of the women from that show actually showed up in the trailer, she was the one that went on a date with one of the guys in this one.

I’ve just watched the finale and it’s good. Decent amount of horror mixed with mystery. Intrigued to see where series 2 goes.

Also, not wanting to spoil a thing but the ending definitely gave me Lost vibes. Which I know is a bad thing to compare to but hopefully you find out why.

Watching Severance for the first time. Did not expect this to be so triggering for me.

Impressed with how accurately they depict how creepy and bleak gigantic corporate office complexes can be.
