Anyone watch the latest Cobra Kai season yet? Feeling underwhelmed by Sabrina reviews and not sure what to dive into at the moment. Enjoyed the other two seasons a ton, though the end of S2 was a cringey mess haha

 

One was in December, and a second one Jan 24

 

I went in wanting Succession and didn’t get that at all. I’m pretty frustrated with where season one ended, but I also watched all of the episodes in less than a day and a half around work.

 

Dang. I’ve heard good things tho. Would you still recommend it?

also unrelated but just watched Da 5 Bloods and it was amazing but really upsetting damn

 

Greenland is one of the most realistic hypothetical apocalyptic scenarios I’ve ever seen in a movie, in that the characters spend most of the movie stuck in traffic

 

Midnight Sky was so boring. Just a big nothing.

 

I didn't hate Midnight Sky, but it was just kinda whatever.

Has anyone seen Sylvie's Love?

 

Heard Greenland was pretty decent actually. Less shit blowing up and more family drama.

 

Just watched “Coherence”, which is on Prime right now, and it was fucking awesome. Exactly my type of film. Seems to be super unknown. Made in 2013 for 50K and only made 102K.

definitely recommended for fans of science fiction, trippiness and/or mind-bendy goodness. A very fast 90 minute thinker and puzzler.

 

If you haven’t seen ‘The Vast of Night’ yet, worth checking out too. Also on Prime.

That long shot in Vast is so damn good.

 

On ep 4 in Alice In Borderland. Been great so far, and yeah did not expect that THING to happen in ep3.

 

Few episodes in and The Owl House on D+ is super charming and fun

 

A few episodes into S4 of Sabrina and I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as people are saying.. like, the writing is still hilariously bad, but it's no worse than the previous season. In fact, I'm liking it more.

 

Definitely seems like something I'd enjoy. Have you watched Summer Camp Island and/or Infinity Train? They are both on HBOMAX.

I’m making my way through She-Ra for the first time, & it’s wonderful.

 

The final season and the finale specifically are incredible
