there’s other stuff about her too, like something along the lines of mitigating the difficulties black actors face as far as visibility/salary to show how much harder latinx actors have in those areas. painful stuff

 

I finished “The Assistant” on Hulu (Don’t know if anyone has watched because Chorus’s search function automatically searches for anything with “assist”). What a brutal watch.

started Ted Lasso the other night bc of you obsessed mfers. Light, fun stuff so far. Gives me Schitts Creek vibes.

 

I feel so lucky to have caught The Assistant in theaters back in February. Easily in my top ten this year.

 

The Assistant was different movie than I was expecting but was very good

 

I was looking at that on Hulu last weekend but skipped it. Glad it was brought up, I'll probably catch it this weekend.

 

Just have to say, having grown up in this state, I fucking love how much Veep rips on NH. Most of the jokes are pretty accurate lmao.

 

Man I gave that last Terminator movie a shot and it was one of the most boring things I've ever seen

 

I keep thinking I should watch that and never do and that’s probably for the best.

 

Watched Stumptown - pretty average but it was worth watching for Cobie Smulders and Jake Johnson alone. Sad that it was canceled on a cliffhanger but I’m not super upset about it either.

A Teacher - Short episodes, but well made and well acted too.

Solar Opposites - Really like Rick & Morty and was curious to check this out and it does not disappoint!

What We Do In The Shadows? - would never have watched this if it weren’t for the hype but I’m glad I did. Really enjoyed The Trial episode for all the great cameos!

 

If I save someone two hours than at least some good came out of it haha. But yeah. It's a big skip.

 

The highlight of my summer was introducing two of my friends to Shadows and getting drunk and watching the two seasons over a weekend.

 

lol that was my summer, but with ITYSL. Me, and my friends BBQ’d then watched the whole season. It was their first time seeing it.

 

Has anyone watched Alice In Borderland? My fil recommended it.

Yeah it’s very fun. Think of a mix between an escape room and Battle Royale

Alice in borderland is extremely my shit after two episodes.

Also, netflix defaults to English dubs for me so when it started I was wondering why it was so weird but then I switched it to subtitles.

 

Netflix not defaulting to the original language is the dumbest thing ever

 

Episode 3 of Alice in borderland. Holy shit.

 

That show seems like something I’d enjoy. There’s just too much content.
