    I’ve heard SLC has a pretty legit alt/underground scene partially fueled by rebellious ex Mormons. I’ve only been there for a layover and I didn’t leave the airport.

    Always fascinated by how Mormons are deeply culturally conservative while also having very coastal lib aesthetics on the surface. I am much more familiar with Scientologists and I can imagine they're pretty similar in that respect.
