Yeah, this is honestly the worst part about the impending "end" of the original series. I'm going into it knowing that, yeah, it's still not over and the story will continue on into a whole other series that will drag out for who knows how many more years.

 

yeah it made me too bummed out I had to give up after like 2 seasons

Would be surprised if it makes past season 2. I truly hate with the demise of the monoculture that any series that’s even a marginal hit needs a spin-off. Who in the world wants more of this?

oh man, I didnt know they were onto season 5. I've only seen the first one.

 

kind felt like they were phoning it in a bit last season. it wasn't awful, but a good number of elements didn't work for me. hoping it gets better in S5 (or that they're building towards an end)

 

After seeing what Netflix did with Avatar The Last Airbender and Death Note, not really having any faith in them making another live action version of a beloved cartoon

Though I guess people seemed to have liked One Piece
