    I watched the first two episodes. I can't really speak to the Philly stuff but it seemed like it was trying a little too hard in other ways as well. I'll probably stick with it though since it's only 8 episodes and I like Brian Tyree Henry.

    My prediction for the future of Looney Tunes brand is it's gonna get bought by Fox and they'll get rid of the content warnings for old cartoons, and they'll make it a thing about how "they saved LT from the woke mob" or something.

    Fox owned Tubi already said they're getting the Looney Tunes library pretty quickly after WBD dropped it. The New Fox has indicated they want to move more into general entertainment content aside from news and sports. This gives them a strong legacy IP to have in their portfolio. It sucks but it makes sense.

    Wait, Tubi is owned by the part of Fox that Disney didn’t buy? I did not know that (and it makes talking about this stuff even more confusing).

    Yes Tubi is owned by the Murdoch's Nu-Fox Corp that came out of the Disney buyout.

    Speaking of the Murdochs, if you haven't looked into their family trust dispute yet... it's pretty fascinating. When Rupert dies, Fox (and Fox News) could make some absolutely radical changes (for the better, potentially/hopefully) depending on which sibling(s) end up in control.

    I hate that all the best TV shows of the year always air in Q1 and first half of Q2 right before the Emmy cutoff at the end of May. Like what the fuck you mean the second half of the year isn't going to be as stacked as it is right now?

    Right now is one of the best lineups of great TV in recent memory with more on the way (Andor and TLOU premiere next month). Gonna be sad when it slows down.
