It's funny because I have the whole series on my plex and had the new movie like a month before it hit theaters (somehow). So fuck that company.

This is what this feels like. Just completely nonsensical from a brand pov. What is that saying "you gotta dance with the one who brung you"

 

From what I understand, after it was done, WB/D didn’t want it anymore and shopped it around. They pretty much washed their hands after distribution was sold.

 

But it's still their property. They still benefit from the publicity. Merchandise, whatever. It makes no sense no matter how you look at it.

 

Totally agree that it doesn’t make sense. I don’t think they’re doing anything to promote or merchandise it. It got bought and bombed. Zaz probably feels like it justifies burying everything Looney Tunes.

 

Binged through the available episodes of Common Side Effects while recovering from a hangover. Been a fun watch. Happy to have this in the weekly rotation for a few weeks

 

Ok. Finished the first season of How To…the foreskin part was absolutely bonkers lol

 

Adolescence left me shook. Anybody watch Toxic Town (also written by Jack Thorne) yet?

 

finished Yellowjackets s2, it's really not that bad. i've actually been watching it on dvd since i was able to get both seasons on sale. so, i'll wait for all of s3 to be out and then use the week free trial of Paramount+ to binge it

I like that Adolescence by the end of episode 1 makes it very clear this is not a whodunnit crime story, this is a whydunnit crime story kind of refreshing take on the genre.
