Started Yellowjackets bc I noticed it had a lot of actresses I like: Ella Purnell, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, apparently Nicole Maines later on. It's good, I like the interpersonal stuff, but I kinda wish I was a bit more invested in the mystery stuff

 

To me the wilderness 90's mystery stuff is the best part. The present day goofy plotline stuff is where it loses me. Yellowjackets often feels like a show I like and a show I don't like spliced together awkwardly.

 

I gave up on this season.

 

the beginning is good but be warned it falls off a cliff

 

Even in season one it's just an OK show that is fun but messy, it's very Showtime from episode 1.

 

s1 good but messy
s2 bad and messy
s3 (so far) not good but slightly better than s2

 

@xkaylinh I agree with them that the quality has dipped after the first, but related to your interests, the show is gay from the start but it gets even more gay in season three lol
