The politics of Zero Day are weird so far. In this universe far left and far right are amalgamated together into a sort of vague mass anti-establishment populism. Like a guy yelling about crisis actors one second then going off about the 1% the next. far left extremist militia from North Dakota had me scratching my head lol

 

My guess when I read the premise is it's gonna be like a Shark Tank thing. Probably a jury to award funding to startups or something. I'm sure they'll find a way to work the jury angle in there.

 

I am getting "Paramount+ with Showtime a proud sponsor of Max" ads on Max. Never seen a streaming service explicitly advertise itself on another streaming service (when it isn't an add on) before. Weird. The steaming wars truly are over.

Ehhh. I would expect a more serious take on this case from a Netflix true crime doc than going down the MK Ultra conspiracy rabbithole. At least they acknowledge that Helter Skelter was BS in the trailer, but then go a whole other way and imply it was a CIA plot. Weird angle.
