really curious what sort of justification they'd offer about using increased subscriber fees to fund quality new projects in the future, seeing as that their two biggest hits - ST and Squid Game - are both set to end this year

I'd leave if I didn't have a kid. He watches it on the weekends. I've tried to get him to watch D+, or even kid stuff on Peacock, but he likes Sonic, Pokemon, Lego Ninja, etc. which is all on Netflix.

Stavros Halkias' indie comedy Let's Start A Cult on Hulu today. Stav said it's a real "dumb on purpose" type comedy, and compared it to Danny McBride. Has a lot of really funny up and coming new york comedians in it.

Last month I went to cancel my Peacock subscription (at $7.99/month) and they immediately hit me back with a "please stay and we'll reduce your subscription to $1.99."

Worth a shot for anyone who's paying full price.

 

I hate hearing about those things. I already paid for the $80 annual peacock premium plan that expires in August.

 

Their Black Friday deal has been better than that for the past few years. It’s still a good price, but not the best deal they’ve done.

 

I always get it when it's $1 or $2 a month then cancel lol, I use it so rarely

 

WWE PPVs and the Olympics every other year are the only reason I sub to Peacock Premium, and even at full price I think just those two things make it worth it for me.

 

I use Peacock for comfort shows like King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, New Girl etc. But once this 1.99 deal expires I might let it go for a while. I subscribe to way too much now.

 

I let Apple TV+ go for awhile, but just resubbed for Severance. Will unsub after and resub whenever FAMK starts back up.

 

Just started the first episode and noticed Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are EPs on the show too. This is bound to be my favorite thing ever.

 

Between my gf and I we have basically every service but even if I watch 2 movies a month on each one it feels worth it. The only one that doesn’t feel worth it is Netflix.

 

Yeah idk how anybody is paying for Netflix still.
