It really does, there's a ridiculous amount of good content for people who like network television

I had no idea Presuming Innocent was a movie already. There were soooooooooo many procedural movies in the late 80s/early 90s lol wow.

And Raul Julia is in it?

Is it worth a watch just to compare it the show?

Thought the show was pretty okay. Fun thing to watch weekly with a kind of bleh ending but im not surprised.

is it a hot take to say Jess is the worst character? or is that the whole point of the show

 

In the first season, especially the very beginning, she's way too..... Much

As the show finds it's legs she becomes a much better character

I watched Land of Bad last night and I'll be honest I didn't really pay attention to the plot in the beginning so idk why they were even on the mission, but I didn't think it was bad. I actually thought it was best when it was just Liam Hemsworth being guided by Russell crowe and the sergeant woman. Thought that built up some cool tension. And when crowe is taken off the mission and is going grocery shopping and it cuts between his mundane shopping trip and Hemsworth and Milo Ventimiglia fighting I thought it nicely showed the juxtaposition of having a stressful high stakes job but then having to just leave it at work somehow and go about the day to day while the chaos is still going on.

But yeah I still don't know why they were doing the mission. I assume it was rah rah terrorists.

 

Currently watching Those About to Die and The Serpent Queen. The Serpent Queen is quality shit , love me some period pieces. On the other hand....Those About to Die .....I don't HATE it....

if you liked PI there’s a similar film to tv adaptation of fatal attraction from either last year or the year before on paramount. joshua jackson, lizzy caplan and amanda peet. similarly pretty good build up and kinda messy finale but decent enough.

 

Yep, agreed. It's a worth a watch there were some pretty good performances, I especially liked JJ.

 

They totally nailed the look and sound of the games, I think this is gonna translate really well compared to the previous iteration
