Yeah the justified prime evil or whatever it was definitely felt like shoehorning Raylan into a story that made no sense for him

that’s exactly what they did, adapted another Leonard novel and put Raylan in it

Its the other characters on Justified that made it so great too. Boyd, Dewey and Art.

Hard to justify why they called it Justified.

Lol Yup and it was not lost on me how much Steven was shoved off to the corner and told to shut up. He had one line and it was about how he specifically fucked up.

I will say it was also not lost on me how much of the apology was about them not appreciating their audience enough, which only makes me think that a river of legitimate criticism was flowing into an ocean of whiny "we made you how dare you!" complaining.

  6. Ah yes, a timely story about learning to trust AI. Seriously though, these big budget Netflix movies never turn out to be good right? Have there been any good ones?

I'm going to assume everyone decides to get along and the nazis are like nvm fam and stops putting ppl in concentration camps and everyone can stop killing and go home to their loving families. P sure that's how the war ended.

justified is one of the best shows in the history of the medium, but I think you're thinking of deadwood, another one of the best shows in the history of the medium

I think the message here is clear: You would be entirely…justified…in choosing to watch the show

Justified is set in modern times but the show has a lot of western feel to it. But the reason it’s hard to answer your question directly is Deadwood is the actual yes answer
Edit: should have continued reading. asked and answered

A lot of people hate the “Justified” theme. Not me, though.

Both “Deadwood” and “Justified” are fun to watch just because of all the future stars they have. “Deadwood” has Nick Offerman being an insane drunk, while “Justified” has, like, young, unknown Kaitlyn Dever killing it.

anyone watch The Big Door Prize? we watched season 1 when it aired and found it to have good intentions, but it felt like a slog to get through with its predictable storylines and juvenile characterizations (which i know was kind of the point, but the characters' arcs just weren't that engaging). now i learned season 2 premieres yesterday, and i'm hesitant to watch it if it's just gonna be more of the same.

I watched season one and agree with those criticisms. I watched all three new episodes last night and, while I do think there is somewhat of an improvement with this season’s new conceit revolving around the mysteries of “The Next Step” and how creepy it actually is, there are still some lingering issues with the main characters that I don’t love. The main couple, for example, are following through with that trial separation they left off with at the end of the first season and the move into new territory happens awfully quick. They seem to be hinting at the connections between people with the blue dots so I’m at least curious to see what’s going on there with the Morpho machine.
