there's definitely some crossover with Curb audiences. but I think a lot of ITYSL is even weirder than Curb

 

The older crowd who like Curb may not like it.

 

So many sketches start off with Curb-like scenarios of social faux pas (fully loaded nachos, skipping lunch, babysitter excuse etc.) but then they escalate like only ITYSL can. There's crossover if Curb fans can take the absurdity and yelling lol.

 

That just makes me wanna see Larry as a guest next season of ITYSL

Also speaking on crossover, dont think my mid-50s parents (who love curb) liked a second of ITYSL when I showed it too them. Leans a bit too far into the absurdist stuff like Tim & Eric I think.

 

Tim and Eric and other Abso-Lutely shows are definitely the precursor to ITYSL. But I’d be shocked if those shows weren’t influenced by Curb / Seinfeld in some way.

 

Yeah Tim always felt very Adult Swim to me

 

My dad has loved the few things I’ve shown him from ITYSL

anyone watch AP Bio? Just started and think the first few episodes are kinda meh. Worth sticking with it?

 

I still need to watch AP Bio and Mythic Quest.

 

I liked AP Bio a lot and it gets better as it goes. Still bummed they cancelled it

 

never watched AP Bio but Mythic Quest is fantastic

 

Loved Mythic Quest. So far APs been a little hit or miss but Ill stick with it

 

I thought AP Bio was pretty funny but it's been years since I watched it

 

I watched AP Bio, it's always enjoyable but never great
