It's a Sandler Netflix movie.

I'll be there.

 

I actually have decent expectations for his dramatic roles.

I have zero expectations for his comedic roles.

 

TikTok got me watching the rookie and also Iove Nathan Fillion

 

Yeah tiktoks been pushing that show a lot it's weird

 

that, shameless and that Yellowstone show are always popping up for me

 

House is always on Tiktok and it's a good show

 

It’s weird the stuff TikTok and IG Reels will cling on to. I’ve seen multiple clips of the never-watched Laurence Fishburne mob movie “Hoodlum” on there.

 

I wish I got more House clips. I don't mind the Grey's Anatomy and Chicago Med per se, I've just actually seen House

but yeah I think i've brought this up before, it's weird that these medical (and in the case of The Rookie etc, law enforcement) procedurals get pushed so much on these apps

 

Is The Killing worth watching?

 

In my opinion, not at all

 

The first two seasons are good. Didnt care for 3 and 4.

 

Weird being someone who doesn't do Tiktok, so my random TV clips are dictated by what shows up in my YouTube feed. Recently I gotten in A rabbithole of watching compilations of PBS's Finding Your Roots.

I have probably seen the clip where Larry David and Bernie Sanders find out they're cousins 3 dozen times.

 

The Killing is really great and underrated. very self-serious but great mysteries, great performances, great atmosphere. they take it to some really heavy, profound places too.

 

I remember really enjoying those first two seasons

 

I liked the first two seasons, and absolutely hated season 3.

 

I just watched the ballad of buster scruggs on Netflix and I generally am just like well that was a movie

it was a good movie btw I just gotta think on it lol

 

S3 and 4 of The Killing are great if you’re okay with shifting your expectations as it becomes more of a character study of the leads. It also rips from The Wire a bit but not in a bad way

 

i did not like spaceman

 

I finally watched Severance, was enjoying it the first few episodes but it got straight up goofy towards the end. so many unnecessary twists!

 

The only part i really liked that stuck with me was the Tom Waits as a gold prospector one. I don't really remember any of the rest besides that one James Franco scene from the meme.
