Not sure about this, but the Einstein and Picasso ones were good. They surprisingly did not whitewash their leftist politics, while also not shying away from how problematic they were towards women ( Einstein holding back his first wife's scientific career, Picasso being an abuser, ect). Didn't see the Aretha one but haven't heard good things.

 

Just cancelled. But I’m sure removing cancelled shows isn’t out of the question since that’s what streaming sites like to do these days.

Had no idea what American Nightmare was about but was gonna start it anyways with the praise in here. Though now knowing it is documenting something with the BA/Vallejo pd?! Excited very excited to watch

 

Aliens truly is one of the best movies of all time

 

Those up close eye shots on episode 2 of American Nightmare was way too much.

 

Meant to post to this thread and not the entertainment thread but yeahhhhh finished s4 of The Americans. Good television

 

Watched American Nightmare. Wild stuff. Pretty standard as far as documentary filmmaking, but I appreciate that it was short and to the point, focused on the right people, and didn't dwell on trying to understand or dissect the mind of an evil criminal. Reminded me of a line from A Murder at the End of the World and was glad to see this doc reaffirm that point.

 

Not enough was talked about regarding the FBI agent and the ex-fiance

In the episode of Seinfeld when Elaine goes out on a date with the guy who guesses her measurements to get her a custom made bed, he says shes 5'8". He has to be the worst guesser of all time. No way she's that tall or even close to it. And she doesn't correct him!

 

Ahhh the episode where they hang with Elaine's dad, the bike in Jerry's apartment is replaced by a bookshelf.

It's definitely fun, it's pretty low on my list of things I watch, but it's fun

 

yeah that's one that'll be on my list forever because I'll probably never get around to it

 

I liked the 1st season. Still need to watch the 2nd season.

I'd rather have a bed that's too long than too short, so I wouldn't have corrected him either, haha. But yeah, JLD is like 5'3" so him guessing 5'8" is pretty crazy.
