i remember liking anchorman 2 right before the scene where ron burgundy went temporarily blind. from there it never really recovered

 

It was alright and then it just petered out.

 

I stan for anchorman 2.

 

I feel like the first “Anchorman” was the acceptance of “random” humor into mainstream movies and “Anchorman 2” was the end of it.

 

the blind part was the only funny part of Anchorman 2.

 

that and Napoleon Dynamite which were somehow the same year, and also the same year as 13 Going On 30 and Mean Girls

 

Addams Family Values is a perfect movie start to finish

 

Addams Family Values is the perfect example of taking the okay first one, fixing what didn’t work and making it better, not just repeating the same jokes people liked before.

 

And Eternal Sunshine. It was a wild year.

 

Garden State too

 

The only thing about 21 Jump Street that seems cringe now in retrospect is the age gap between Jonah Hill and Brie Larson. A 24 year old cop hooking up with an 18 year old high school girl is weird as well.

It isn't like in Pineapple Express where they acknowledge that it is weird, they portray it as cool and normal behavior.

 

I ended up liking terminator more than T2

But I'm biased because my love for Hicks is strong and he was too iconic in terminator. But I enjoyed both. I know Robert Patrick from growing up watching The Faculty a ton, and he is so good at being creepy

Now I'm watching Robocop for the first time
